People Operations Director or Manager

G and A Labor · Louisville, Colorado
Department G and A Labor
Employment Type Full-Time
Minimum Experience Senior Manager/Supervisor
Compensation 120,000-170,000

Headquartered in Louisville, CO, Swimlane is the leader in cloud-scale, low-code security automation.

We're looking for a People Operations Director or Manager to build and operate a world-class People Operation. You will be responsible for all aspects of talent, culture, engagement, learning & development, total rewards and people operations globally to serve Swimlane's mission and ensure team member success and development. You will report to the CFO.

The ideal candidate has dynamically scaled organizations to meet business goals and moves seamlessly between strategic planning and tactical execution in collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.

You'll be a trusted leader, advisor and partner on the key drivers for company performance, culture, employee relations, compensation, and the levers for scaling the organization. You will be a foundational leader for our overall values, policies, as well as driving a global, diverse, performance-based work environment.

The role:

  • Advance Swimlane’s People infrastructure, talent recruiting, people management and culture to the next level for growth and scalability.
  • Use data to support and influence decisions, express the business needs and explain program ideas to the leadership team.
  • Hands on involvement in all cycles of People, spanning hiring, retention, relations, regulatory reporting, training, benefits and change management.
  • Compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Trusted People advisor to all levels of the organization.
  • Create and implement programs – performance management, learning and development; diversity, equity & inclusion; sustainability.

A little about you:

  • You have 8+ years of People experience, with a focus on strategic partnership with managers up through the Executive level.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of People practices and legal requirements.
  • You are an expert in interpreting and communicating procedures, policies, information, ideas, and programs.
  • You compile and analyze data and insights to improve execution.
  • You thrive in a fast paced, growing, global organization.
  • You have scaled rapid growth SaaS, cyber security or software platform organizations.
  • You adapt organizations to a progressive culture and metrics driven scalable performance.
  • You attract and retain top talent.
  • You anticipate needs or obstacles and prepare for them, moving fast and iterating on an imperfect solution instead of waiting for ideal circumstances.
  • You move forward quickly with new strategies and infrastructure for maximum impact.
  • You are highly resourceful in ambiguous and difficult situations.
  • You are a collaborative team player, open to ideas and change.

Don't meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Swimlane, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway! You may just be the right candidate for this or other roles!
